Brisbane Cycling Festival – Week 1
We’re on route for the Brisbane Cycling Festival and the wheels are in motion to kick off the inaugural event with all the bells and whistles. Rolling into week 1, there is plenty to do, see and cycle!
The official launch of the Brisbane Cycling Festival has revealed a spectacular line up of events celebrating the world of cycling, and they are inviting one and all to get involved across 18 action packed days from 28 March – 14 April extending the pedal beyond the elite races for locals and visitors.
The Festival Program features entertainment with a range of hospitality, health and wellbeing, arts and cultural experiences including music, live street acts, workshops, interactive hot spots, visual arts and speed on two wheels that will captivate and provide something for everyone.
Don’t wait to see the stars in action with the Junior Track Nationals leading the pace starting on Day 1. The best Track cyclists from each state around the Country are involved in the Australian National Championships. At Track National Championships, champions will be crowned and athletes will earn their Australian colors. From Thursday 28th March to Sunday 31st March at the Iconic Anna Meares Velodrome, the action will slay the day!
