THE OFFICIAL JAY MCCARTHY 6 WEEK TRAINING PLANS

Do you need help training for Tour de Brisbane‘s 110 km Gran Fondo, the 45 km Amy’s Ride, or the FREE Community 8 km Ride sponsored by The Sunday Mail? Then look no further!

Local Brisbane cyclist Jay McCarthy, who has competed in the Giro D’Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta A Espana, has endorsed a 6 Week Training Program that will get participants ready for the start line of The Sunday Mail Community Ride, Amy’s Ride, and the Gran Fondo that make up Tour de Brisbane.

The 6 Week Training Program has been designed by Cycling Queensland’s Kangaroo Point Cycling Club to enable more people to take part in the Brisbane Cycling Festival’s Tour de Brisbane.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Step 1: Pick your adventure. Will you choose the 110 km Gran Fondo, the 45 km Amy’s Ride, or 8 km Family Fondo?

Step 2: Feast your eyes on the 6 Week Training Program.

Step 3: Get stuck into your training! You have 6 Weeks until we see you at the start line!

Step 4: Congratulations, all the hard work has been done! It’s time to reap the rewards. We will see you at the start line at Tour de Brisbane on the 14th of April, 2019!
